Barcelona Interest To Sign Mathieu Valbuena

Mathieu Valbuena's agent stated that Barcelona are interested in the player operates as the attacking midfielder.

With Marseille, the 28-year-old players look impressive in Ligue 1 last season. Conditions that invite interest from a number of big European clubs, one of which is Azulgrana.

Although he is interested by El Barca, but Valbuena's agent, Christophe Hutteau, said his client remains happy at Marseille.

"I can only say, I never discussed with Mathieu [Barcelona sporting director] Andoni Zubizarreta some time ago," said Hutteau told RMC Sport.

"He feels the same way as their technical staff, and he [Valbuena] is a very young player that everyone appreciates him. He told me there are a number of offensive players will leave Barca [this summer]."

"But, Mathieu is now in Marseille and he is happy in there."
